Introducing The Swan Lake Tablescape Collection

I'm so excited to share with you our festive Swan Lake-inspired tablescape collection available online now!

I wanted to create something extra special this year as my sister, who lives in Australia is coming home for Christmas with her fiance and their new little baby - my precious nephew! It's been four years since we've all been together for Christmas so I'm pulling out all the stops!

I remembered a little swan vase I picked up at a vintage market in the South of France over the Summer and this became my jumping off point. I wanted to create something really magical and enchanting inspired by our childhood Christmases that we were lucky enough to experience. I wanted to capture that same sense of enchantment and togetherness in this collection.

The Winter Wonderland colour palette is inspired by Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake so I've used icy greens, frosty blues, Winter white and shimmering silver. You can go all-out with this collection or you can pick and choose one or two pieces and make it your own, each piece is timeless that can be used again and again. I have styled this with a vintage silver candelabra and candlesticks I have in my studio from my wedding styling days. You can always find these at charity shops, flea markets and online.

For Christmas or special occasions it can be fun to have personalised menus and place cards and it can be a way to make it feel really personal for everyone around the table. To create the whimsical, dreamy, fairy tale-like paper goods there was only one person to turn to and that is the fabulous Jess from Pink Moon Designs who somehow takes my wild imaginings and turns them into the most beautiful works of art. Jess designed these die-cut swan-shaped place cards and beautiful menu cards for our collection which can be bought in sets of 8. These will add that magical touch to your table and would make a beautiful hostess gift.

I am obsessed with our Gatsby-inspired etched cocktail glasses from The Vintage List which are just asking for a party! These come in a set of four and are a staple in any home bar situation.

Our frosty turquoise velvet napkin bow sitting on top of a meringue tower I made to add to the drama of the table!

Our antique silver footed vases are the perfect size to make your festive centrepiece. Here I've used our large flower frog to hold the stems in place - these are so handy if you don't have many stems to work with. I've mainly used gorgeous sweet-smelling eucalyptus from the Wicklow Foliage Farm who sell the most incredible Winter foliage and wreaths and are a pleasure to work with.

I hope you love the collection as I did putting it together!
