Mother's Day tablescape inspiration

Mother's Day tablescape inspiration

Some inspo for creating a beautiful tablescape for the special mother figures in your life. Here I've used our newly arrived Italian lace tablecloth draped over our soft linen duck egg blue tablecloth for a soft feminine feel. I've gone for a Nature-infused Spring-inspired table styling with potted hydrangea bulbs and some natural-looking floral arrangements using our trusty flower frogs.

Our nifty little terracotta flower pin is great for adding some sculptural shape to the table. Here I've just added in some foliage sprigs which will be fine for a few days out of water.

Simple place settings using our cotton ruffled napkins laid under our minty grey ridged dinnerware with a sprig of foliage on top adds a sense of occasion but it feels effortless and not too formal.

I love mixing up place settings so they're not all identical but they are tied together by colours and tones. Here I've tied our ruffled cotton napkins with lace ribbon I had here but you could use twine or something you have to hand or you'll find some at your local craft or habadashery store.

Wishing you all a very Happy Mother's Day x
