Made for the table that loves to share, this bowl comes into its own at family-style gatherings. Pile it high with a vibrant summer salad, pass it around with sharing boards laden with antipasti, olives and crusty bread, and let the conversation flow. Its generous depth holds a full salad for four to six, while the wide rim makes it easy to toss and serve at the table.
The distinctive "splatter" design originates from Puglia — also known as the "heel of Italy's boot". Handmade and painted by a ceramics artisan who has produced pieces in the same town for 18 generations, this means no two are the same and your piece is truly unique.
Amber's Styling Tip: Come spring, repurpose this bowl as a planter for seasonal bulbs — think paperwhites, hyacinths or daffodils. The pistachio glaze and earthy clay base look beautiful against fresh green shoots, and the depth gives roots plenty of room to establish. Simply line with a layer of gravel before planting and cover with a blanket of moss.
